Whatever your priorities, we will work with you to understand your goals and develop a financial plan to help you get there.
This initial meeting is the essential first step of our wealth management process. Through an extensive conversation, the wealth manager discovers the client’s financial goals, personal circumstances and financial status.
The wealth manager then takes the information obtained through the discovery meeting and develops a written plan that is designed to achieve the client’s financial goals. This plan can be either formal or informal, depending on the client’s preference, but it is a written plan.
The wealth manager sets up a second meeting to review the plan with the client. This meeting provides an overview of the plan, including how it will reach the client’s goals.
Once the plan has been agreed upon by all parties, the wealth manager begins the process of implementation. Other implementation steps could include the development or update of an estate plan, the addition of insurance coverage or review of existing investments.
The wealth manager contacts the client on a regular basis to review the plan and make appropriate changes. These reviews are done formally every quarter and reallocation of assets is recommended during each quarterly review, when appropriate.
The annual update is a more extensive plan review. The annual update is an opportunity to do a service review, confirm the client’s goals and personal circumstances, and re-examine the non-investment parts of the plan.
